Help CenterGirl Scouts from each program level select one official uniform item (a sash, vest, or tunic) to display badges, pins, awards, and other insignia. This item is required when you participate in ceremonies or officially represent Girl Scouts.
Girl Scout Uniform Diagrams provide placement info (with pictures), to help you layout the insignia, earned badges, pins, and awards properly. Fun patches always go on the back of the uniform. While nationally-used photos may show uniform pieces with 3, 4, or 5-digit troop numbers, please note that at Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, we use 5-digit troop numbers.
Official uniforms are available for adults, too. Adult vests are often worn for troop meetings or activities. For ceremonies or formal recognitions, the official adult uniform is navy blue business attire, an official Girl Scout scarf or tie, and insignia tab with membership pins.
Uniforms can be purchased locally from council shops in Macedonia, North Canton, Sheffield Village, and Youngstown, or online from GSUSA.
